The Innovation Check-Up, a self-assessment tool structured as a questionnaire, was designed for small and medium-sized enterprises to collect information on the level of innovation within companies.

The Innovation Check-Ups enabled over 50 companies to assess their level of innovation maturity, providing a snapshot of their current state. This helped companies gain greater awareness of their strengths and areas for improvement, laying the groundwork for tailored innovation support pathways based on their specific needs.

The collection and analysis of the data also contributed to outlining the profile of the Como-Lecco area in terms of adoption of Industry 4.0 Enabling Technologies, competitiveness, and propensity for innovation.
